A legend tells about white ravens, so pure of soul that they were called the guardians of peace. At one time they brought light into the dark and sinful world. They brought the sun closer so all the ice could melt, flowers and plants could grow and everyone could experience warmth. During this transition the bright and fiery light scorched their impeccable white feathers and coloured it black as coal. Tired but done the army of ravens settled down in the new world. Because they now were black as night people were afraid of them and scared them away, again and again. Isolated, sad, and fighting to survive, the ravens turned their back on everything they once took care of.
